This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Defensative LLC, doing business as NetWatcher (“Defensative” or “NetWatcher”) through its “NetWatcher” Services collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the   https://netwatcher.com website and all NetWatcher services. (“Site”).   NetWatcher complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries.  NetWatcher has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement and Liability.  If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.  To learn more about the Privacy Shield program, and to view our certification page, please visit https://www.privacyshield.gov/.

Types of Information Collected:  NetWatcher analyses network traffic to and from the Internet to search for network security threats, intrusion, and other anomalies.  NetWatcher retains network traffic and netflow information and analyzes it to alert its customers to network threats.   NetWatcher may retain information of any type transmitted to it by its end users and service subscribers for this purpose.

Customers or subscribers who believe that NetWatcher possesses their personal information may contact NetWatcher at info@netwatcher.com to ask that any personal data be deleted.  EU individuals have the right to access information about them which NetWatcher may possess.  NetWatcher encrypts all data which it retains.  Customers and subscribers who wish to limit use of specific personal data may ask NetWatcher to delete it.  However, this may adversely affect and degrade the provision of NetWatcher analytical services.

In compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles, NetWatcher commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information.  European Union individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding this privacy policy should first contact NetWatcher at:  info@netwatcher.com.

NetWatcher has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the EU-US Privacy Shield Principles BBB EU PRIVACY SHIELD, a non-profit alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States and operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information and by providing this information they consent to its use and retention. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

NetWatcher may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

Onward Transfer

NetWatcher is responsible for personal information it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. NetWatcher will remain responsible under the Principles if its agent processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless NetWatcher proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage. In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU individuals received pursuant to the EU-US Privacy Shield, NetWatcher is potentially liable.
